Where are Buoy Pops made?
Buoy Pops are handcrafted in small batches in Harpswell, Maine.
What chocolate do you use?
We use carefully selected chocolate from around the world and develop our flavors to complement it.
Can I mix flavors in a gift box?
Yes. Use Build a Gift to choose your box size and fill it with your favorite signature flavors. You can also shop our ready-made Mixed Flavor Boxes.
Do you offer seasonal flavors?
Yes. Pumpkin Spice is available September through November, and Dark Chocolate Candy Cane is available October through December.
How much does retail shipping cost?
Retail orders of $30 or more qualify for free shipping. Retail orders under $30 have a $5 flat shipping fee. Wholesale shipping is handled separately.
Do you offer free local delivery?
Yes. Free local delivery is available in Brunswick, Topsham, and Harpswell, Maine. Choose free local delivery and select your town when placing your order.
How do you ship chocolate in warm weather?
During warmer months, we may use insulated packaging or ice packs and adjust shipping schedules based on temperatures and destination. During extreme heat, we may delay shipment to help protect your chocolate.
What should I do when my chocolate arrives?
Bring your package indoors promptly. Please arrange for someone to receive it so your chocolate is not left on a hot porch, in direct sunlight, or in a hot vehicle. Store it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat. Do not put your chocolate in the refrigerator; let it settle in a cool indoor location.
Do you offer wedding and event favors?
Yes. Choose your box size, quantity, flavors, foil colors, and optional personalization on our Weddings & Events page. There is no minimum order. Personalization costs are shown in the builder.
Can I choose custom foil colors for my event?
Yes. For wedding, event, and corporate orders, any flavor can go in any of the available foil colors. Choose one color or several to coordinate with your celebration or company.
Do you offer corporate gifts?
Yes. Our Corporate Gifts builder lets you choose quantities, box sizes, flavors, foil colors, and available branding options. Additional branding costs are shown in the builder.
How do I apply for a wholesale account?
Visit our Wholesale page and submit an application with your business details and resale certificate. Wholesale ordering is available to approved accounts.
Do I need to renew my wholesale resale certificate?
Yes. Wholesale accounts need a current resale certificate, renewed annually. You can upload an updated certificate through your wholesale account.
Do you offer wholesale terms?
Approved wholesale accounts use Net 14 as the standard term, with Net 30 available only on accounts approved by Buoy Pops.
